So I did a WHOOPS! *buttslide* down the escalator at Porter Sq. today. Go me.
New boots are awesome on snow and ice, but apparently they have trouble with fucking escalators...
ow.
In other news, I've been in a downswing of posting lately, as some of you may have noticed.
I appologize.
Work's been kind of busy, I have this bass project on my mind a lot, and a few other things going on in my head as well which I'll not jinx by mentioning.
so! hopefully more to fill this space soon.

Date: 2006-01-25 03:05 pm (UTC)There was a down escalator for you at Porter this morning? I had to take the elevator. Or wait, do you must mean the first escalator....

I find even the best boots are problematic on wet escalators. Don't know what it is about them... I've nearly gone over a couple of times because of that. of course, the "boots" I have now aren't really good in snow and ice, either. ::sigh:: It took me 25 minutes to walk to the T this morning, taking the tiniest steps known to man.
I have this bass project on my mind a lot
btw, I talked to aaron and he's good with you using the basement, even when we're not home (i'll have to get you a key), and actually, it sounded like depending on how loud you were going to be, he'd prefer not to be home. But he did have one concern-- is what you're doing likely to throw sawdust everywhere? Because that was something he didn't really want. So, you know, let me know. We can talk about it tonight, I guess.

Date: 2006-01-25 03:08 pm (UTC)Sawdust might be an issue, it's something I have to look at. There are neato little dust-collection attachments that I can hook up to a vaccuum, so I might go that route. I won't filth-ify your basement though, i can promise you that. ^_^
and yes, the first escalator luckily.

Date: 2006-01-25 04:40 pm (UTC)It was just the last three steps of the short one, luckily.
And since I don't bruise without getting smacked with a Louisville Slugger, I think I came out fine.
