So I did a WHOOPS! *buttslide* down the escalator at Porter Sq. today. Go me.
New boots are awesome on snow and ice, but apparently they have trouble with fucking escalators...
ow.

In other news, I've been in a downswing of posting lately, as some of you may have noticed.
I appologize.
Work's been kind of busy, I have this bass project on my mind a lot, and a few other things going on in my head as well which I'll not jinx by mentioning.

so! hopefully more to fill this space soon.

Be careful, meester. I am not OK with you hurting yourself. Besides, you know the penalty -- you hurt my boyfriend, I hurt you!

You said ow in the entry, ow means pain. Pain means I kick you.

love!

Perhaps the italics are my payback for hurting my boy?

You have a project that involves fish? Amazing!

Add on a bacon juicer attachment and you've got yourself a winner!

There was a down escalator for you at Porter this morning? I had to take the elevator. Or wait, do you must mean the first escalator....

New boots are awesome on snow and ice, but apparently they have trouble with fucking escalators...

I find even the best boots are problematic on wet escalators. Don't know what it is about them... I've nearly gone over a couple of times because of that. of course, the "boots" I have now aren't really good in snow and ice, either. ::sigh:: It took me 25 minutes to walk to the T this morning, taking the tiniest steps known to man.

I have this bass project on my mind a lot

btw, I talked to aaron and he's good with you using the basement, even when we're not home (i'll have to get you a key), and actually, it sounded like depending on how loud you were going to be, he'd prefer not to be home. But he did have one concern-- is what you're doing likely to throw sawdust everywhere? Because that was something he didn't really want. So, you know, let me know. We can talk about it tonight, I guess.

I guess the meg never got to you about that, we ain't gonna be so much with the home tonight. :o/

noooooooooooooooooooooooo! I pout! What will I do with my weekly dose of you guys?! (Presamably, watch tv by myself.) What exciting thing are y'all getting up to? hmm?

I won't filth-ify your basement though, i can promise you that. ^_^

I trust your judgement. Just wanted to make sure to voice le roommate's concerns.

Yeah, I was picturing you sliding down that entire second escalator. My brain was like "thank god your bum is still attached to your body!"

[identity profile] oceanic.livejournal.com 2006-01-25 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
lucky. I bruise when people so much as breathe too close to me.

[identity profile] rainbow-spork.livejournal.com 2006-01-25 04:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Nevermind all the people he'd inevitably take out along the way!

[identity profile] oceanic.livejournal.com 2006-01-25 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Would that be accidental homocide? Maybe all the families could sue the makers of the boots.

[identity profile] rainbow-spork.livejournal.com 2006-01-25 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Or the escalator....

so glad you posted about the buttslide -- I've nearly wiped out on the PATCO subway stairs a few times this winter, going both up AND down, though thankfully haven't fallen ass-end over teacups yet... *crosses fingers*
