LOL thanks. That's nothing, though, you should see the shit that goes down on the Everquest boards... geeks with nothing else to do but flame one another, now *that's* scary.
How do you like Flame of Recca? I have never seen/read it but it's supposed to be a classic so I keep meaning to get around to it.
Oh, well, I suppose that would do it. I don't frequent any non-moderated message boards. Or play online games. So my skills have atrophied in the past 12 years or so. :-p
Recca's good. The anime's a bit different from the manga, and only about 1/3 as long, but it's in color, so it wins. Errr.... 0:-)
Mainly focused on battle, but the character develpment makes me happy, and I can identify with the main character pretty well. So there's my $.02.
The sad thing is, they ARE moderated. There is a Flames section where everything is fair game, except posting porn. There's a reason I don't go to those boards any more. I did learn some great insults, though, my personal favorite being "I unleash mansuck on you" - I am still not quite sure what it means, other than the possible homophobic reference.
I may get my hands on the Recca anime then, just to see. Character development is always a good thing; pointless battle annoys me. Thanks :)
