inahandbasketoh, and Akira ROCKED!
finally saw it on sunday night.
It was a new translation/voiceover version.
many many scenes that had been cut out of the original translated version of it were in this one.
My favorite voiceover was changed for the worser ("You know we aren't meant to exist in the outside world..."), but the movie overall was far far better, far more cohesive, and seeing it on the big screen... wow.

I need to get a DVD copy of the new one asap.
Hmm.. need a new accronym.
