Remember that thesis of doom?
Got it back today and it turns out my primary reader (aka prof who grades it) is either senile or just plain didn't read it.
I got a really surprisingly good grade.
Go me! Go luck!
*sigh*
I don't feel like I deserve it, but I'll go back and read the thesis in another few months, maybe some distance will make it suck less in my mind.

For those of you who don't know, and for cessibaby who flat out asked, here's my thesis in a nutshell.
I'm an anthropology major, and I needed something that could hold my interest.
Video games!
My thesis was examining the communities formed around video games, specifically Diablo2 for the RPGish side, and Quake for the FPS side.
blah blah blah, expound expound expound, interview interview interview, yadda yadda yadda.

Quite honestly I liked the subject, I liked the research I did, I just wasn't happy with the creation I handed in 2 weeks ago.
But I didn't fail it, through some magical intervention of the gods/goddesses, and now I must devote my life to their service.

That or play frisbee golf this afternoon.

and the latter sounds more appealing.

the anthropology of video games, humm interesting, could actually be more sociology but hey thats just details and who cares since its done.....wish me luck on my 3 paper/presentations i have yet to do.....i need some luck, maybe i could rub your tummy or something....humm?
