inahandbasketI'm looking for a good domain registration service and minimal web hosting.
Need some recommendations.
The best I've found thus far is lowesthosting.com, which has free domain registration with:
30MB space
unlimited traffic
unlimited e-mail addresses
and only $19 setup fee for $4.95 a month.
I think I'll probably go with that unless someone out there has a service they particularly recommend.
And I have to be able to transfer the domain to a different server without a huge hassle, because I may be bouncing around serving my own stuff now and then for the next few years. Need flexibility!

It's the same as what you listed above, only it has unlimited space, too. Way better than 30 MB :o)

They have good hosting packages and EXCELLENT tech support. I can vouch for that. The few times Ive had questions their guys get back to me QUICK.
If I wasnt LAZY MAN© I would probably have a kick ass web site up and going right now. But.....
