That's nice. I have news to share, so hush.
Yesterday I gave notice at work.
Things there had gotten increasingly frustrating since the new company took over (not their fault, just how things go) and I was really starting to dread getting out of bed in the morning.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
chillguru was the one bright spot in my days there, and I'm seriously going to go into withdrawal once I don't work with him any more. *sigh* (I'm also worried he's going to kill me in my sleep.)
That aside, the new position sounds super-duper awesome. Sys Admin at a small children's book publisher that's about a 5 minute walk from our apartment. I sent them my resume last friday, interviewed tuesday, was asked for references wednesday, and got the offer thursday. I think they liked me... ^_^
To say I'm psyched about this is a total understatement. I really can't wait to get started!
