OK, pondering Everyman Photo contest entries, and I need advice.
Can only enter two photos, and they go under categories, so it'd be silly to enter two in the same category. Therefore, please only vote for one of the two 'architectural' ones.

For the people category.

Nature category, I might crop this tighter if I enter it.

Architecture 1, call it 'the barn'.

Architecture 2, the Cloisters.

So, which two do you think are the strongest photos?

Please please please help me pick!
I'll love you forever. really!

Nature's not showing up. ::pout::

But from what I can see, I'd choose People and Arch2. But maybe Nature will make me change my mind. =)

(and now that I have InterWeb again, I need to check out this contest and see if *I* want to enter)

out of the ones i do see, i'd choose the people one and the cloisters one.

oooh ooh i like that one!
i replace my people vote with a nature vote.

the people picture captures a nice moment, but nature one has a better.. i don't know the word i'm looking for. I guess the exposure and composition is just more striking. Like the people one would be really good for journalist things, you really caught the "defining moment," but the nature seems to be a better "art" photograph.

nature and cloisters. Don't care much for the others, but those two are quite nice.

People photos are too common... that's just me though.. nothing wrong with the photo at all. And the other one, seemed kinda plain I guess... but that's really when it's next to the other ones. On it's own it would probably seem cooler. It's not that I don't like two of them, they just don't stand out like the other two do. My first impression of cloiters was "damn, that rocks". I had seen the other one that I like before... and the other two I just kinda shrugged. They are nice, but not that nice... ya know?

nature (I think I commented on this one when you first posted it) and the second architecture one.

I've got a huge soft spot for the Cloisters (and arches in general, at least of the non-golden kind); my very favorite thing in that picture is the candle slightly askew at the center.
The ivy one is iconic but not artificial in a way that's rare.
The People one is also a really good picture, I just like the other two even more.

I'm also not sure how I feel about the cropping of the ivy picture - I like the subtle diagonals in the left-hand corners. But that's just me. Aren't you glad you asked? ;-p

Aesthetically the nature and cloisters shots are awesome. But I like that "people" shot as well, more irrationally. :)

People and architecture 2. I espeically like the angle you shot from on arch 2.

I'd go with the ivy on the barn and the cloisters. I think they're the strongest shots of the one's you've chosen.
