LARGE photos under this cut.
[livejournal.com profile] 9mm asked for a photo and description of all my photo gear, so here it is.
most of it.

Ok, so here we have my equipment that's in Boston.
Each square is a different set.
lists will be left to right, bottom row first.

In the red square:
  • Canon Digital Rebel with 18-55mm kit lens
  • Mounted on it, vertical grip with double battery compartment.
  • 1gb CF card and infrared remote trigger
  • Canon 28-135mm f3.5-5.6, USM IS (the shiny lens)
  • Sigma EF-500 DG Super flash
  • some crappy tiny tripod with spider legs

  • In the blue square:
  • a magenta square containing my cameraphone. ^_^
  • Miranda Sensorex w/50mm f1.8 lens
  • Vivitar 285HV Zoom Thyristor flash with "Vari Power"
  • two polarizing filters (for the 50 and the wide)
  • Super-macro Bellows
  • cheapo tiny tripod with stiff legs
  • 21mm 3.8f wide angle Soligor lens
  • 2x teleconverter for Miranda
  • 90-230mm 4.5f Telezoom Soligor lens

  • And in the green square:
  • Minolta Maxxum 7000 with 50mm lens f1.7
  • Minolta Maxxum 2800 AF Flash
  • Minolta Maxxum 100-300mm Zoom xi lens w/macro, f4.5-5.6

  • Across the top:
  • crumpler camera bag (sweetness. http://www.crumplerusa.com )
  • generic camera bag from 30 years ago (or so)

    And on the right:
  • New Benbo Tripod. (love these so much)

  • Next!
This is my paternal grandfather's old photo gear that no one else wanted when he died. I couldn't bear to let it go to the estate auction, so it's mine now.

I don't have all this in front of me, so the specs will be from memory as best I can.

    Bottom left to top left:
  • Canon FTb Body
  • Some remote thing for I don't know what
  • Canon 2x teleconverter
  • In small orange box: a clockwork time-delay shutter-release. Very cool little thingy.
  • a plain old cable-release
  • Canon A1 Body
  • Large rubber lens shade for the medium sized lens
  • A sliding side flash mount
  • An old Kodak Disk-film camera.

  • Lenses (all FD mount):
  • 100-300mm telezoom, f5.6
  • 35-105mm (I think), f3.5
  • 50mm f1.8

    Bottom Right:
  • two small square flashes in cases
  • Polarizing and UV filters
  • T4 adapter for the zoom lenses

  • And there you have it.
    Mostly.
I have some non-functional stuff too, that's real purty but can't count as cameras at the moment. ^_^

Ahhh I see you know the wisdom of the vertical grip as well. Very nice sir. Although Im amused that you included your camera phone.
