so I'm planning to take on the nanowrimo.
http;//www.nanowrimo.org
the challenge:
write a 50k word novel in the month of november. (~175 pages)

I'll be posting about it, posting links to it and the updates, etc.
i'm making a filter for it so that if you aren't interested you don't have to see all dat junk.

Comment here if you want to be on said filter.

Ewww. You should write a novel about forcing people to read Neuromancer which by the way I may never have read, depending on how much you'll kill me, dammit no one I knew in high school had read it!! anyway you should write about that. ;)

Actually, I don't think Meg ever lent it to me, she just threatened to eviscerate me for not reading it. Though I did finally read Dune after all that time, and am profoundly grateful. :) *big winning smile* ppppbleease don't kill me!

It might be the postmodernist hipster hit of the decade. "The definitive podiatric-effluvia novel of our generation."

Let me in! I may give the nanowrimo thing a stab, and even if I fail miserably I wish to be party to every one else creative juices flowing (or oozing as the case may be). :)

There is a three day novel contest every labor day weekend. You should consider that for next year.
