thought I had a line on a short-tailed opposum up for adoption at a nearby petstore.
called, the guy on the phone said that he had no idea what I was talking about, and that their adoption pets usually go the same day.
ah well. c'est la vie.
I'd gotten my hopes way way up.

Yeah, that's just the mood I'm in. tired, slightly depressed, and silly all at the same time. makes life interesting at least.
I'm finally settling nito the job thing enough that I want to be doing things in the evenings. and oh, how many things there are to be doing.
here's a brief list:
learn a martial art
start wood carving again
get a small furry pet to play with
play more some frisbee
glassblowing
refinish much furniture
and lots more.
Needless to say, I'm not getting any of that done at the moment except refinishing furniture.
*sigh*
just random angsting, go about your day.
