I really wanted to rip into this stupid spamming biznatch, but I restrained myself.

The issue here is that people subscribe to this community to discuss geeky things.

No one is disputing that you feel strongly about this, but you know what? I don't want to see vegan issues in here either. I don't want to get into religious flamewars, I don't want to hear about people's days, I just want geekiness. That's the point of a community journal specifically geared to geekitude.

Go post it in Zines, or Infojunkies, or Arts, or ArtGeeks, or any of the bunch of general purpose communities out there.
The geeks journal is for geekiness, which is why you got flamed. and I have to say that if I weren't feeling so lazy I would have jumped in too, flamethrower on full blast.

There's a place for everything, and this is not the place for that post. It's as simple as that. keep on topic.
