inahandbasketI have a strong dislike for dealing with banks.
This is amplified when they play the responsibility shuffle with their outsourced debit-card services.
Called the bank, got shunted to the card services.
Card services say to call the bank and talk to a rep.
Bank rep says to call card services again and tell them it's lost (when it's not actually).
Card services says "Oh, ok. We'll fax your bank and tell them it's lost. Then they'll contact us to let us know we need to replace the card. Then we can send you a new one."
holy bureaucracy batman!
