So iphones are in hand and working well on TMobile. We'll see how battery life is, they're used after all.
In honor of having such a versatile little device, I've setup a Moblog on flickr where I'll post random cameraphone pictures. Friend me! I'm lonely! ;-)
Hoping to spur myself into shooting more, as I'm a lazy bastard when it comes to getting out my big camera even though I carry it pretty much every day.
Here's to hopin'!

Date: 2009-07-08 04:53 pm (UTC)The curve camera was better than I expected, but certainly no great shakes in the image quality department. Been wanting an iphone for many reasons, but the camera was not one. The ease of mobloging to flickr however, was one of the reasons. I don't much care about the image quality for this project, it's just to get me looking at things that way again.
The 3gs finally has actual lens focusing built-in which is a huge step forward. The images off it are really quite good from what I've see.
That said, if I were going for a really great imaging cell phone I'd be looking at one of the ones that's more a camera with a cell phone attached, like the Nokia N82 or N95. ^_^
