Wanna see how sad the general world knowledge of americans is?
only mexico even came close to our low score.
On the other hand, those Swedes are on top of their shit.

(I got 19/20. I missed the religion one. Thanks for the link claire!)

(i got 19/20 too)
the geography was too easy, with the exception of Israel (and maybe Argentina), all you had to be able to do was guess the general location of the country - like Sweden only gives you one option in the right area, same with Japan, etc.... no fun.
i got population wrong, silly me.

also: you can't move to sweden unless you can find it.... they won't be having many americans visit any time soon *grin*

I missed the population one AND the religion one (I thought it was Islam), so you all can feel good about yourselves :)

yeah, but you grew up in Virginia =P (kidding, dear).
Really that means that you have the same odd assumptions that Ry and I do. I remember reading an article not too long ago on missionaries which said that Christianity had surpassed other religions, but that the figures were not indicative of what missionaries thought it was, more to do with population growth in certain areas of the world and with the rising tide of Americanism... otherwise I would have guessed either Islam or Buddhism.

If I were a true Virginian, I would have railed about how there wasn't a Southern Baptist category, those heathens. Or waved my Confederate flag in the air as a retort. Either one will do. ;)

See, the thing that you have to remember is that people don't take these seriously. They put the wrong answers intentionally because they think it's funny. And because Americans are the only people in the world with a sense of humor (with the possible exception of 5 or 6 English), we are the ones who do that the most.

I mean, really, all those damned Australians put JEDI as their religion on a government document, and you expect THIS to be accurate?

Oh, I got 20/20. :-p

And you think that the kids didn't intentionally lie?

What, deus ex midichlorians? :-p

I hate Star Wars more the more I think about it. Stupid plots, bad morals, and bad science prevails over everything else. But that's OK, though. I guess.
