Ahhh! Swallows! I love those little guys, and the aerobatic maneouvres that they perform as the chase down insects. They are most definitely my favourite species of bird.. apart from chicken and cornish game hens of course but obviously for different reasons altogether. ;-)
Hey.. Did'ja know that Budgies got their name (Budgerigar) from the Aboriginal word Betchariga (spelling??) which means "Good Meal" ? Yup, honest to goodness!
