The article linked says Eastern plans to continue their commitment to social justice, yadda yadda. Eastern Bank also has received awards for highest customer satisfaction in New England, so that's a point in their favor as well.

I'm definitely taking a wait and see on this one, maybe we'll get a better web-banking portal out of the deal! Wainwright's is pretty miserable.
