Apr. 5th, 2005 12:28 pmSettling in to the new job pretty well, met the president of the company today who apparently has a knack for causing technology to cease functioning simply by touching it (according to the CIO).
No desktops here, everything's laptops, so that's an interesting change. much easier to grab someone's computer to work on it.
The average e-mailbox here is about 2gb of mail. This should be interesting. Some are up to 4-5gb. Shit, my first computer had a HUGE 210mb hard drive.
Didn't bring my own lunch today (for the first time), so I'm going to head out and see what's to be found in the Kendel Sq. area of Cambridge. Any recomendations (aside from Cambridge Brewing Company) are highly welcomed (and in fact, requested).
