So [livejournal.com profile] greyhoundliz and I put up a batch of beer this weekend. SO EXCITING!!!
It should be some kind of dark ale, neither of us are exactly clear on what we brewed, but the guy at the brewing store set us up and I've only ever heard good things about him and his brews, so I feel pretty comfortable. It'll be dark, that's for sure. technically a brown ale, but it looked black as night when we locked it up in the fermenter.
I'm psyched, I've been wanting to try my hand at brewing for a few years now, I've read assloads of material on how to do it, and now we've finally done it. Too bad I'll be in Boston when it's ready to be bottled. I'm going to beg the liz to put away a few bottles so I can try it next time I'm in philly, or they come to Boston, or something.
In the meantime, I think I'm going to purchase brewing equipment for myself to use in Boston, assuming that the curtlepine is ok with that. Guess I'll wait 'till we move in before I get to that though. *grin*

aaaaanyway.
Had a phenomenal weekend of much goodness, and I'm starting off the week on the right foot.

It's my last week in this fucking office, and I couldn't be more psyched. I'm really going to miss some of the coworkers, we're pretty tight at this point. I'm fairly sure that at least one of them will miss me too. ;o)
I'll still see the ones I liked in Paragon City though. video games are good for keeping geeks in touch.

yeah.
Time for me to start gathering office stuff together and packing it up to take away. kinda sad really. I've made this my own little corner in the past 2 years.
