great job opportunity falls in my lap, something I want to do (more or less) with great opportunity for advancement in the company, cool people, relaxed atmosphere, and I got an official offer today!
for less than 2/3 what I'm making now.

I really can't accept it, i'd be broke and a half at a time when I'm trying to save up some money.
Oh well.
maybe there'll be another.
