It seems as though I don't update on weekends...
That's because I don't.

I'm now working the ole 9-5, cept that I'm doing 7:30-4 so as to skip the bad traffic shtuff. Yeesh. Takes me 45 minutes to get here in the mornings without traffic. hour to get home. Don't need any longer on top of that...
(side note: today is bring-your-sons-to-work day here in the cubicle farm, and the next cell over has 2 lil ones in it. They're cute. Probably about 10, and the kid knows more about computers than his mom does. (I'm in the computer admin department at Unisys in case you didn't know. Global Messaging and Domain Management.) :eton edis)
SO! yeah. weekends are my time off. I don't touch computers except to play games for the most part. (Lately I've had issues with mine so I've been doing some fixing on it, but other than that it's solely a game machine for the summer.)
Diablo 2 Expansion Pack comes out on friday, I'm pretty psyched about it. I was obsessed with D2 when it came out, but it's lost a lot of it's appeal in the past year. (Not that I don't still play it lots, but a little less...) With the x-pack i'll probably get obsessed again as it will pretty much be an entirely new game. almost like a sequel to a sequel. Oh well. obsession happens. :o)
Cleaned my car this weekend and did a few minor repairs. Giving away my old volvo to the son of one of my mother's friends. Good old car, but it needs some work. He's 17 and just itching to play with it. Good for him I say. It needs some serious muffler work, and a basic tuneup. Probably just new spark-plugs and wires would be all it needs to get the last cylinder running, so hopefully he'll get himself a half decent car pretty cheap. cost for a new battery and some spark plugs. Not a bad deal at all. :o)
and hey, I got it free too. pass on good fortune. :o)

Sorry I haven't had anything earth-shattering to say recently, I'll get back on top of my shit soon. This working every day though has gotten me into a bit of a rut. I've realized that I'm not a big fan of large companies, even less so than I was before I worked here. They suck. Large, impersonal, and it's amazing that anything ever gets done honestly. I don't know how it works. It's hurting my head. Bleah.

Oh yeah, I spent most of yesterday throwing up due to some bad salmon.
