(no subject)

i need something for my mom for xmas. she's the last one on my list.
I'm goin nuts here.
i get her books every year, I'm sick of doing that.
but she's IMPOSSIBLE TO SHOP FOR!
I wish there was something she would like a class in, cause i could just spring for some classes for her, but no... she has no hobbies and no patience for a hobby.
*sigh*

guess it's books again. >_

Ummm...Hi!

I'm one of Tommy's friends, and being bored at work, I was nosing around. And saw your post.

I might have an idea; my mom loves to read and I usually get her books too. But she also loves bookmarks...perhaps a nice leather bookmark for your mom? And if she likes tea, you could make a little "kit" with a nice mug, some teabags, a bookmark and a treat, like cookies? Just an idea. :-)

Here (http://www.leatherbookmarks.com/) is where I got my mom a personalized botanical-y looking one. I think I remember it arriving in a fairly timely fashion. And no shipping, they just put it in an envelope.

Good luck! :-)

here's silly me reading this AFTER x-mas, but for the future (birthdays, holidays), www.levenger.com has some great stuff (accessories, etc) for book lovers
