Someone suggest some good readings for me!

have you come to the right place!!!
Are you looking for the real gems though? The classics, I mean? Octava Butler, Ursela L'Guin (Left Hand of Darkness... classic.) There's A.E. Van Vogt, for another though I'venever read his works personally. hmmm... heard of Hal Clement? Yeah.. I can tell you're a hard-science fiction buff, with Niven on your list. hmmmm.... Poul Anderson, very prolific. Ben Bova! Why isnt he on your list?? Ohh, and have you Clarke's Childhood's end? Read it. Infact, read it and then read Blood Music... damn well two of the greatest of all time. And... Frederik Pohl. I can't think of any others.
Just make sure to read both Childhood's End, and Blood Music. Apocalypic beauty, so complex they can't be defined as either truimph or tradegy... true classics.

I'll have to find taht greg bear book, sounds good. (I think I've read soem of his stuff, but I can't think of titles at the moment...)
Tad Williams has been suggested to me often, and I'll get to it soon I hope. Hell, I'll just put up another journal entry about this. :o)
Thanks!!!
