I'm qualified to be on the Supreme Court:
I can read. The constitution is in writing.
Though I think that the "able to read the constitution" part hasn't been enhforced very heavily in the past few decades, though.
"The people" = "the military"

yes, you meet the minimum stated qualifications in the constitution, thankfully those who make the nominations and vote on appointments are more discerning than that
