Biked to work!
~7.9 miles, ~40 minutes. Not too shabby! I took it easy as it was the first trip for this commute, and that bike has only had a 2mi shakedown ride since I rebuilt it and I wasn't confident in my handiwork.
Route taken, the astute Bostonians among you will notice the very stupid turn after crossing the longfellow. I shall never again ask a bike courier for recommended directions on the fly without being very specific as to WHICH waterfront industrial park I was headed towards. I'll take some blame for that one.

I went in there the other day to pick up a pair of work gloves so i could help unload a container full of kegs, was surprised by the size and capacity of that place. I definitely need to stop by there on lunch-break one of these days and nose around.

That said, I'll definitely give that route a shot later in the season once I'm more used to biking. For now I'm going to keep it to the shortest possible route. heh.

(ok, now I'm *really* going to go make lasagna instead of just talking about it, like I have for the past 15 minutes.)

On the bright side, this should help get me in shape faster (assuming I can actually do the ride every day) and someone who reads my bike blog wants to start doing rides. So that could be motivation.
