Wow! With just $155k, you can buy a 263 sq. foot studio in our neck of the woods!
Let me spell that out: two hundred and sixty three square feet.
Still not computing on a visceral level?
That's the size of a room 20' by 13'. $155k.
ouch.
You could fit that "apartment" inside the kitchen at my parents' house.
(Also found an interesting looking property on craigslist, I doubt anything will come of it but you never know.)
(oh, and i plan to post photos today.)

I think it might develop a slow leak. It's kind of like gas prices. Even when they deflate, it will still be more than it ever was before.

I feel your pain though. I LIVED in one of those 13x20 rooms in SF. And I couldn't afford to buy it, because there they start at closer to a quarter mil. :P
