That's nice. I have news to share, so hush.
Yesterday I gave notice at work.
Things there had gotten increasingly frustrating since the new company took over (not their fault, just how things go) and I was really starting to dread getting out of bed in the morning.

chillguru was the one bright spot in my days there, and I'm seriously going to go into withdrawal once I don't work with him any more. *sigh* (I'm also worried he's going to kill me in my sleep.)
That aside, the new position sounds super-duper awesome. Sys Admin at a small children's book publisher that's about a 5 minute walk from our apartment. I sent them my resume last friday, interviewed tuesday, was asked for references wednesday, and got the offer thursday. I think they liked me... ^_^
To say I'm psyched about this is a total understatement. I really can't wait to get started!
