Add in:
furniture and lighting designed and built by us
garden space/green house/ house plants (food types esp)
speakers wired all over house for music, etc.
projector system ought to be portable and able to adapt to new/old media
menagerie of animals (cats, ferrets, hedgehog, fish, bearded dragon?)
adaptable and well-designed kitchen-social space as well as practical
as much done with sustainable materials, etc.
I'd like to be off the electric grid, so we've gotta find ways to supplement solar panels for electric most likely - unless the house has amazing amounts of sun. Hook up exercise machinery like dorks? capture compost gas? *laugh*
Would love to look into non-traditional heating sources too, running solely off elec is trop cher, don't wanna be on the gas grid, but if water's heated inline (which rocks), can't do hot water pipes under the floors... hmm.
Workshop/officey space for both of us - - woodworking, etc. for you, craftier for me
Wrestling/punching bag/yoga space with mats, etc.
